The W.E. Care For Kids Campaign began in 1997. The funds raised through this campaign will be used to support local paediatric care programmes and services and to purchase special equipment. The bottom line is to care for our kids, close to home and to provide a little peace of mind for our family, friends and neighbors. Teen Health Centre is dedicated to helping Essex County's young people achieve physical and emotional health and well-being through education, counselling and support. They offer these in a welcoming, non-judgmental environment that is completely confidential.

In 2003, Baseball Canada has chosen to host all the Canadian championships in a single site. Many cities across the country vied for the opportunity to host the event. Baseball Canada chose Windsor, citing its exemplary track record as hosts of the national bantam level championship tournaments over the past three years and the strong history and tradition baseball enjoys in our city.
