- Login to your SMT / cpanel as webadmin@domain.com.
- Before you install FrontPage, you
must ensure you have created a user for the
extensions. To do so, click on FTP
Services-->Add-->Create FTP Accounts.
- Enter in the below information:
User Name: (Login Name)
Full Name: This can be left blank
Password: Make sure to use a secure password (ie aVIgVKam)
Confirm Password: Same password as above
Account Disabled: DO NOT SELECT THIS OPTION.
- Select Add
- Once you have successfully created
the user, click on the Web Services-->Manage.
- Select Frontpage 2002
Management.
- At the bottom of the page, select the IIS (Microsoft's Internet Information Server) site to add FrontPage extensions for, and click Add Extensions.
- On the next screen, fill out the
below:
ReplyTo Email Address: webadmin@domain.com
MailSender Email Address: webadmin@domain.com
SMTP Host: smtp.domain.com
- Select Add Extensions
After you have done this, and wish to
connect with FrontPage, remember that all Windows
accounts require the "nt" prior to the username for
everything except the cpanel:
Username: nt\USERNAME (be aware of the back-slash \)
